This simple wedding spell can be used in place of traditional wedding vows during a Wiccan wedding ceremony, or any Pagan wedding or handfasting ritual.
Each line is spoken one at a time by the wedding officiant, priest, or priestess, and repeated by the couple.
Wiccan Wedding Spell
“Heart bound to heart,
and soul bound to soul -
I am my own but also yours.
Our union grows of kindness and caring,
Of trust well-deserved
and love unerring.
Heart bound to heart,
and soul to soul bound -
This love is a home of our own.”
This spell is taken from a wedding script in the free AMM Ceremony Script Library.

Couples may choose to light candles on the wedding altar at the start of the exchange (as candle magic), or to incorporate a unity candle ceremony.
If the couple chooses to light candles, consider these candle color meanings: A pink candle (symbolizing honor and love), green candle (for abundance), blue candle (for patience and health), purple candle (for intuition and wisdom), or white candles (for purity and truth) are all common choices.
Exchange these vows within a circle of friends and family, or a protection circle cast by the officiant, for a truly magical marriage ritual. Some couples may choose to include an offering to gods, spirits, or ancestors, a handfasting ritual, or a seasonal Pagan blessing.
Ask a beloved friend, mentor, or relative to get ordained to perform your marriage rite.
Note: This simple spell is not intended for use as true love magic, only as a symbolic and spiritual exchange of consent to marriage during a wedding ceremony between willing companions.
Candles, crystals, herbs, flowers, runes, and spoken words can all be used as part of your ceremony.
