Wedding vendors will tell you that visiting the coolest wedding venues in the country is a big perk of the job. You might film an intimate wedding on a private boat on Friday, live-stream a couple’s vows from a sold-out concert on Saturday, or officiate a family-friendly barn wedding on Sunday. Creative locations are part of what makes working in the wedding industry a great career (especially as a wedding officiant!), and what makes every couple’s wedding a unique adventure.

To help us explore the top wedding destination ideas and trends of 2026, we reached out to Florida wedding videographer Rob Chiola about his favorite Central Florida and Greater Orlando wedding venues – places that have real Florida magic and offer a great value for the experience.

If you're planning a destination wedding in 2026, or getting married close to home in this beautiful area, don’t miss the incredible locations on Rob’s list!

Planning Tip: Before booking your venue, ask whether they provide an officiant. Many Central Florida venues don’t have officiants on staff, which is why couples often ask a close friend or family member to officiate their ceremony. In Florida, getting ordained online is fast, free, and legal with American Marriage Ministries.

Top Wedding Venues Around Orlando & Central Florida

1. Favorite Wedding Venue on a Tight Budget: Bridle Oaks Barn in DeLand, Florida

If you’re looking for cheap wedding venues in Orlando and the surrounding area, you won’t get more bang for your buck than Bridle Oaks Barn in DeLand, Florida. Just don’t expect it to feel cheap – this venue punches way above its weight. With chic country decor, two barns and an outdoor altar, plenty of air conditioning, and adorable animals, you can expect low-stress, stylish fun. Better yet, Bridle Oaks charges $3,300 to $4,900 for 12 hours of use, which is far below the average cost of a Florida wedding venue ( $12,510 in 2025).

“Bridle Oaks is my go-to when a couple wants something beautiful and meaningful without blowing up the budget,” Rob tells us. “This place has that real Florida magic. Big oak trees, soft moss hanging overhead, a cozy barn, and golden light that hits differently every single time."

"From a filmmaking standpoint, it’s one of those venues that does half the work for me,” he adds. “Even if a couple keeps things simple, Bridle Oaks just elevates everything. It’s warm, romantic, and looks incredibly cinematic on camera. Nothing about it reads ‘budget’ and that’s why I love sending couples there.”

Officiant note: Like many barn and farm venues in Florida, Bridle Oaks may not provide an in-house officiant, so couples typically bring their own, often a trusted friend or family member.

Catch a glimpse of this affordable and unique Florida wedding venue:  Rob filmed this Lord of the Rings themed wedding at Bridle Oaks, for a setting that's "straight out of Middle-earth; surrounded by the rustic beauty of Bridle Oaks Barn...[Danielle & Steven’s] special day was filled with magic, adventure, and one ring to rule them all."

2. Favorite Garden Wedding Venue: The Garden Villa in Winter Park, Florida

Just ten minutes from downtown O-town is The Garden Villa wedding venue, a stunning natural space tucked into scenic Winter Park. This is one of the most popular garden wedding venues in Orlando and the surrounding area. It’s an easy escape from the bustle of the city – a lush setting with colorful flowers, sun-dappled greens, and tall leafy trees offering shade year-round. The in-house catering, decor rentals, and assorted nearby accommodations just sweeten the deal.

If you told me I had to film only garden weddings for the rest of my career, I’d happily go to The Garden Villa forever,” Rob says. “It feels like a little hidden botanical world – lush greenery, vibrant florals, winding paths, and that peaceful garden atmosphere couples always fall in love with."

"For me, the way light moves through this venue is unreal. Golden hour there? Chef’s kiss. Everything looks soft, dreamy, and intimate. It’s one of the easiest places to create those romantic, cinematic sequences that couples replay over and over.”

Officiant note: Make your garden wedding more intimate and memorable by choosing a loved one, family member, or trusted friend to officiate.

3. Favorite Venue for Small Weddings: The Estate on the Halifax in Port Orange, Florida

This versatile wedding venue near Daytona Beach offers you a little of everything that Central Florida has to offer, with all the charm of a custom fairytale. The Estate on the Halifax offers waterfront views, wrought iron and cobblestones, lush greenery and moss-strewn trees, decorative fountains and gazebo, a luxurious dining hall, fully-stocked bar, picture-perfect chapel, and so much more. This gorgeous venue offers both structured wedding packages and à la carte pricing, to help fit this unique experience to your budget.

“The Estate on the Halifax is incredible because it can be grand, sure… but when a couple wants an intimate wedding, it transforms into the perfect little storybook setting. The chapel, the gardens, the waterfront, the tavern — every spot feels like its own little world,” Rob says.

Small weddings here hit different. The intimacy comes through in the film so strongly, and the Estate’s variety of locations lets me build a really dynamic, emotional story even with a tiny guest count. It’s elegant, cozy, and full of personality.

Officiant note: You’ll need to bring your own wedding officiant if you get married here – consider having a friend officiate your wedding! Ask your loved one to get ordained online free with American Marriage Ministries to perform your wedding.

4. Favorite Offbeat Wedding Venue: Historic Venue 1902 in Sanford, Florida

Dreaming of a quirky, offbeat wedding venue in the Orlando area? Check out the Historic Venue 1902 in Sanford, just 30 minutes from downtown O-town. This unique venue used to be a schoolhouse! Now they offer all-inclusive wedding packages, including planning help, day-of coordination, and concierge services – a mix of modern amenities and old-school charm (literally). The venue is also wheelchair accessible – a major plus for a historic venue.

Venue 1902 is one of those places where guests walk in and go, “Wait… this used to be a school?” And yes — that’s exactly why it’s amazing. It’s quirky, charming, historic, and has way more character than any cookie-cutter ballroom," Rob says.

"The tall windows, old classrooms, original woodwork — every corner tells a story. It’s perfect for couples who want something unique, memorable, and totally different from the typical Florida wedding vibe. And for me, it’s a dream because the venue adds this nostalgic, cinematic layer to every shot.”

Officiant note: Even at all-inclusive venues, officiant services may be handled separately. Always confirm what’s included before booking. Ask to see a "preferred vendor list" to see reliable officiants the venue has worked with before, or ask a friend or family member to officiate your wedding.

5. Favorite Elegant Wedding Venue: Granville Farms in Volusia County, Florida

Not far from Lake Helen and DeLand, Granville Farms is one of the most desirable barn wedding venues in Central Florida. It’s elegant, welcoming, and entirely upscale. The price tag is above average, running between $8,000 and $9,000 on weekends, but weekday weddings can be booked at a generous discount.

And couples can definitely expect some perks – packages include a fully decorated barn, romantic outdoor lighting, changing rooms, rehearsal time, commercial kitchen access, parking, and more. Most importantly, though? This place is GORGEOUS. Romantic, rustic, and elegant, with a chic and sophisticated old-money aesthetic.

“Granville Farms is where rustic meets luxury in the best way possible. The crisp white barn, the huge oak trees, the manicured grounds… Everything feels upscale and polished but still warm and inviting," Rob tells us.

When the sun starts dropping, this place legitimately glows. It creates that “magazine spread” kind of look couples love. The whole venue photographs and films like a million bucks, which is why I call it my “glam choice” for couples who want their wedding film to feel grand and cinematic.”

Officiant note: Upscale barn venues like Granville Farms often allow couples to choose their own wedding officiant, which gives you more control over the tone, style, and wording of your ceremony. This ensures the entire day is uniquely yours.

Take a glipmse inside this elegant, rustic wedding venue in Central Florida: Wedding videographer Rob Chiola adores the easy luxury of Granville Farms and describes the venue as polished, warm, inviting, and elegant. As a bonus, it's LGBTQ+ friendly! "Roni and Kacey’s wedding day at Granville Farms was nothing short of magical; surrounded by lush greenery, rustic charm, and their closest loved ones 💜🏳️‍🌈...Granville Farms provided the perfect backdrop with its serene atmosphere and beautiful barn-style aesthetic."

"I’m Rob — owner, filmmaker, and professional “let’s-make-this-fun” guy behind Chiola Films. I’ve been filming weddings for over 10 years, with 150+ five-star reviews from couples who trusted me to tell their story. My style is cinematic, emotional, and super personal.

I’m not just documenting a day — I’m building a little time capsule you’ll come back to for the rest of your life. Every laugh, every tear, every chaotic dance move… I’m there for all of it.

I got into wedding filmmaking because I genuinely love storytelling, and I love how each wedding has its own energy. The venue, the families, the inside jokes, the weird moments — all of it becomes part of your film.

Whether I’m shooting at a rustic barn, a lush garden, a historic schoolhouse, or a luxurious estate, I’m always chasing the real moments. The stuff that feels like you. Because that’s the good stuff — and that’s what makes a wedding film unforgettable."
