Clark County launched a new website this week, making it more appealing than ever to get married or become a wedding officiant in ‘The Wedding Capital of the World,” Las Vegas.
The website, Weddings.Vegas, delivers a slick redesign of the county’s older resources to highlight Las Vegas’s international fame as a destination for weddings and elopements. It also provides easy access to the County Clerk’s other services.
According to the site, Clark County is home to “Five Million Love Stories and Counting,” as it prepares to issue its 5-millionth marriage license early next month. In celebration of the impressive milestone, the County Commission has declared February 2022 ‘Wedding Month.’

Marriage Officiants can use the site to register for a single ceremony (authorizing them to perform a single wedding), or download the 5 Year application (authorizing them to perform unlimited weddings within Clark County for 5 years).
Couples will find a direct link to the county’s online marriage license application, articles to help with planning the big day, tips for changing a name, a step by step ‘how to’ guide to the county’s marriage process, photos of stylish couples, iconic chapels, and outdoor venues, and links to order a Certificate of Vow Renewal or Proof of Marriage.
Other visitors to the new website can complete other county business, such as apply to become a Notary Public, record a Fictitious Firm Name, or access the most current version of the Clark County Code (the complete list of county laws and ordinances).
