Though they may not be the first thing to come to mind when you think of a wedding, the fact is this:
Officiants are essential to weddings.
You can get hitched without a designer gown or 5-tier cake, but (in most places) you simply can’t get married without a wedding officiant.
Aside from being a necessity, performing marriage is a role that requires a significant amount of time, dedication, talent, and knowledge – and for many, it’s a skilled craft and career.
Truth be told, wedding officiants are superheroes, and they deserve to know it!
Did you hire a wedding officiant for your own wedding? Find out where your officiant prefers to be reviewed. This might be Google Business, Facebook, a form on their website, The Knot, WeddingWire, etc.
Then, take a few moments to leave a thoughtful and sincere review for their services.
Not sure what to say?
Think about your wedding, your officiant, and how your ceremony came together. In your review, you can talk about (if applicable):
Your officiant will deeply appreciate your kind words, and other couples will be grateful that you took the time to share your own experience working with them!
We’ve seen every vendor (from the calligrapher, to the Etsy shop for the dog's wedding day collar) getting a shout out on the socials… but so often the officiant is left out or forgotten in the credits.
Kindly acknowledge the officiant’s invaluable contribution to the wedding day, drop them an @ and TAG them in your social media posts!
Follow the officiant’s social media account(s), Like their posts and photos, Share and engage with their content when you find it compelling, and REFER them to others!
Whether it’s double-tapping their latest post on Instagram, or directly recommending their services to other couples, your ongoing support will mean the world to the officiant.
