A Katz’s Deli micro wedding?! Do officiants get free bagels?

Katz’s -- the famous New York deli -- is joining the micro wedding pop-up trend!

Katz’s is hosting a one-day wedding pop-up for groups of up to 8 people (including the couple and 6 guests), as the latest small business to branch into ‘unlikely wedding venue’ territory.

What's on the menu?

In a move that demonstrates just how innovative the wedding industry can be, Katz’s has teamed up with NY’s Sweet Hearts wedding service.

The delectable package will include lots of Jewish-style pastrami and corned beef sandwiches fit for a wedding feast, a photographer, and a professional wedding officiant to lead the ceremony. (Just be warned... it's not cheap.)

Sounds delici-- um, delightful! Where do we sign up?

Friends and family members can officiate wedding ceremonies in New York, as long as they're ordained. Becoming an ordained minister through online ordination is simple and free.

All small business owners should take advantage of the wedding boom!

Katz’s might be the most recent, but they're not alone -- small business owners around the U.S. are stepping up to help couples navigate this year’s wild wedding boom.

There simply aren’t enough wedding officiants and wedding venues to meet demand.

That’s why we think every small business owner should get ordained with AMM! Especially those with creative and unconventional brick-and-mortar venue spaces.

A bite of history: The 133-year-old Lower East Side Katz’s Deli starred alongside Billy Crystal, Meg Ryan, and Carrie Fisher in the 1989 classic 'When Harry Met Sally.' It has survived the recent pandemic with the help of community.
