Mobile marriage licenses? Bexar County Clerk hits the road with traveling satellite office

Bexar County Clerk has gone mobile! 

 

The Bexar County Clerk’s new traveling satellite office provides mobile services to various locations throughout the county -- allowing couples to purchase their marriage license closer to home.

 

In addition to purchasing a marriage license, residents are able to research or register a cattle brand, record a military discharge record, register a business name, or request copies of property records (among other services).

 

Engaged couples interested in obtaining their license through the mobile office should contact the county at (210) 335-2223 for more information.

 

This mobile unit will help residents who have a hard time reaching the county clerk’s office in downtown San Antonio, and provide more alternatives to in-person visits during future natural disasters or public health emergencies. Most things that can be done in the courthouse will now be possible on the road, with the help of the county’s new high-end van.
