When it comes to crashing a wedding, few surprise guests can compete with the truly wild examples listed below. These animals jumped into the fun snout-first to leave a lasting impression on the newlyweds.
Luckily, in each case, there was a quick-thinking wedding officiant or wildlife-whisper guest to get things back on track. No animals – or newlyweds – were harmed in the making of this marital excitement.

Now, without fur-ther ado, here’s a list of the most terrifying, and most adorable, animals to ever crash a wedding ceremony!
Wait, who invited this black bear as their plus one? This wedding crasher showed up just in time for the reception, and interrupted a table full of wedding guests mid-meal!
Thankfully the newlyweds weren’t on the dinner menu.

A lion crashed a wedding in Florida? You better believe it! But whether this wedding crasher is more terrifying or cute is up for debate…We’ll let you be the judge!
Tara and Tommy Beers held their wedding in front of a brand-new lion enclosure at Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida earlier this month. During the ceremony, a few lions wandered over to see what all the fuss was about – and stayed for a few candid photos with the newlyweds.

“Do ewe take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?” The puns write themselves as these adorable sheep stroll through a farm wedding in the middle of the couple’s vows!
And who can blame them? It looks like it was a fine day for a walk in the fields.
This stray cat crashed a wedding and found her forever home with the newlyweds and their feline son!
After having their wedding vows interrupted by this shy stray, Cara and Matt Hamdan adopted her and brought her home to meet their cat, Gatsby. (They named the new cat Daisy, of course!) The two cats bonded instantly, and the new family is now happier than ever.
This outdoor elopement went from ‘Instagram worthy’ to ‘nature documentary’ in an instant, when a grizzly bear attacked a baby moose just a few yards away from where the groom stood reading his wedding vows.
The videographer says he watched the bear chase the moose down the mountain to the lakeshore, where he finally caught up with it and then devoured it, not far from the couple’s ceremony. (This puts a whole new spin on a ‘nature-themed wedding.’)
Is that the sound of wedding bells, or cow bells? An entire herd of curious cows crashed a wedding in the hills of Scotland last spring, to the delight of the couple and their guests.
Far from feeling upstaged, the bride told reporters that the crowd of cows actually helped her feel less self-conscious during the ceremony. And they certainly added something special to the couple’s cute wedding photos!
When a five-foot long snake crashed a wedding in Arizona, the bride’s sister sprung to action. She picked the snake up by the tail and casually carried it away from the celebration.
The fearless bridesmaid later credited the late Steve Irwin’s television series for showing her how to handle a snake with such ease, calling the Australian naturalist her “role model.”
Two beluga whales stole the show during this wedding at Mystic Marinelife Aquarium! It doesn’t get any cuter than this, although the bride might never forgive them for wearing white to the wedding.

We’ve all waited too long for food at a wedding right? This hungry giraffe decided to take matters into his own hands during a couple’s photoshoot at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California.
As the couple posed for a wedding photo, the giraffe plucked the groom’s safa right off his head! Luckily, the photographer was able to rescue the turban before it became lunch...
The least scary wedding crasher of all? Probably this gentle-footed deer, who walked through a peaceful backyard wedding – and into the hearts of everyone in attendance.
The couple’s wedding officiant was ready with a clever response, and quickly reminded the deer that it was time to be seated. Adorable!
