We are thrilled to introduce a new wedding guide that uses the secret language of the cosmos – numerology – to plan a one-of-a-kind wedding.
Meet Marriage by the Numbers: Planning Your Wedding Using Numerology by writer, witch, and numerologist Rebecca ‘Bee’ Scolnick!
This book will be available in the AMM Store beginning December 3rd, 2024.
This book is your personal wedding date numerology calculator, and so much more! Find personalized analysis, advice, and inspiration for every part of the wedding day: from picking a wedding date to arranging your wedding altar and designing a unique unity ceremony, plus sample wedding vows and a numerology inspired wedding ceremony script!
Numerology is an ancient spiritual practice that’s both mystical and practical. It assigns meaning to the numbers we encounter in our everyday lives – our birthdate, our age, anniversaries, or our wedding date – to help us find true purpose and chart an authentic path through life.
And when numerology is used to plan a wedding day or vow renewal ceremony? Something really magical happens! This practice brings deeper meaning to the big day and sets the stage for a lasting and happy marriage.
In Marriage by the Numbers, Rebecca uses the power of numerology to make wedding planning a fun, creative, and personal process. You’ll learn the meaning of each building block number, and how to ‘reduce’ calendar dates to a core number to pick your lucky wedding dates. You’ll explore compatibility and personal chart harmony for couples, calculate your Life Path Number and your Marriage Number, and even use numerology to arrange a wedding altar, tailor the guest list, and design your own unity ceremony.
This book also includes sample wedding vows and a sample wedding ceremony script, inspired by your personal numerology!
This unique wedding day numerology guide includes information on how to pick a wedding date, unique unity ceremony ideas, sample wedding vows for each core number, wedding ceremony script examples, and a chapter for the wedding officiant!
Wedding officiants and other wedding professionals can also use this guide to create personalized weddings for all kinds of couples. That’s a big part of what makes this wedding planning book truly unique: it’s not just for the couple getting married!
Rebecca offers incredible advice for the wedding officiant about how to deal with difficult personalities and difficult energies on the wedding day, how to talk about numerology in the wedding ceremony script (or with skeptical family members, you know who they are), and how to deepen your connection with the wedding couple. And her sample wedding ceremony scripts are beautiful! These officiant scripts can be used as-is, or you can add your own wording and stories to them.
The chapters on arranging the wedding altar, ceremony seating, and decor are also super unique and helpful. Wedding designers and wedding planners take note: This book opens up endless possibilities for creativity and personalization! The tools Rebecca provides can be adapted for anyone involved in the wedding day.
The virtual book launch party for Marriage by the Numbers is coming up quick, on December 3rd, so we reached out to Rebecca to ask her a few questions about her new book.
There’s still time to register for the virtual book launch! Register now to meet Rebecca online, ask questions about your practice or a lucky wedding date, and listen as she reads from this exciting new book:

Here’s what Bee told us about this exciting project!
"I’m so thrilled by the notion that couples will use this book when planning their weddings, and am inspired by all of the personal touches and flourishes they’ll bring to their special day in collaboration with these practices.
While I’ve been studying and working with numerology for over a decade, I had never considered the intersection of number magic and marriage, so it was lovely to see while writing the book just how many uses the practice has when looked at through this lens! I was also inspired when writing directly to the officiant! They play such a vital role in the wedding day, while not being the central focus, and it felt good to offer tips, tricks and things to watch out for them specifically."
"My ideal audience for this book is anyone with a curiosity or interest in numerology, and a desire to add its magical practices to their wedding. I always try to reach a wide audience with my work, from novices to the more knowledgeable, and hope that after reading, folks feel confident and comfortable with numbers, which aren’t always accessible through their association with math. But I hope that anyone with an affinity for magic in all of its forms will find this book, and feel encouraged to create a wedding day that encompasses all of their interests, passions and characteristics."
"Marriage by the Numbers seeks to give readers a quick, but firm foundation of a numerological practice, as well as a plethora of ways to work with numbers when approaching their weddings. Whether through learning about the Life Path numbers of the couple getting married, the combined Marriage Number, choosing a date, or working with the energies of each number to help select a Unity Ritual, the layout of the wedding itself, items for the altar, or even the number of the guest list, I hope that readers will see the infinite possibilities that numerology can bring to their big day."
"Of course! This book offers insights into quite a few aspects of wedding planning, including personal numbers of the couple getting married, calculating the numerological energy of the date, sacred shapes to consider when building the ceremony space, and more. A vow renewal is still a ceremony on a planned date, so readers will find plenty of ways to incorporate this information into their second big day!"
"I wrote Marriage by the Numbers during a personally tumultuous time in my life, and it was such a gift to be able to escape into a world of love and matrimony. While I did some of the writing in my home office, most of the work happened at my local library, so a typical day looked like hunkering down at a shared table, pulling out other books by AMM on the wedding planning process, and considering how numerology could add to an already magical day.
I also found tons of visual references online, and researched various numerological practices and histories to learn about other marital precedents and uses. The team at AMM and I had the book outlined pretty thoroughly before my writing process really began, so the day-to-day was mostly filling in blanks, and imagining how I would want to use this information to plan my own wedding (which already happened, was beautiful, and took place on an astrologically-elected date!)."
"Before writing this book, I’d never attempted to write vows or wedding scripts before, and I suppose the surprise was that I really liked doing it! While I know that the whole point of the book is for people to use it while planning their weddings, I felt so daunted by the idea that people would choose to use the scripts as written. For me, numerology is both a calculated practice and a creative art, so I tried to channel the latter when writing the scripts, and am so pleased with how they turned out. And a huge thank you to anyone who gets married with my words—what an honor!"
