Actor Lana Condor and Actor-Musician Anthony De La Torre were married last month in a gorgeous outdoor wedding in Malibu at the Serra Franciscan Retreat Center.
The celebrity couple’s intimate wedding ceremony was inspired by the earthy, vibrant energy of the Santa Monica Mountains. It was a sentimental, family-focused weekend celebration filled with friends, fun, good food, and gratitude for their shared blessings.
Condor and De La Torre began dating in 2015 and were engaged in 2022. Photos from the big day make it clear that the couple’s ceremony was worth the wait; these two are committed to each other and excited about the future as newlyweds!
Congratulations, Lana and Anthony!

Lana and Anthony’s formal wedding ceremony was just one part of a weekend-long wedding celebration with friends and family. They worked with a planner to curate several days of connection and community.
The low-pressure, breezy wedding weekend included a welcome dinner, a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony, a festive reception and dance party, and a day-after ‘farewell’ brunch at the couple’s home (in nearby Los Angeles).
One of the most unique aspects of the couple’s wedding was their choice of venue – the Serra Franciscan Retreat Center located in the mountains of Malibu – which held special significance for both Lana and Anthony.
Lana spent a special time with her mother at the retreat center several years ago. Because her mother passed away recently, the actor wanted to marry there to be close to her mother’s memory on such an important day.
Lana told Vogue that Anthony also had a special spiritual connection to the retreat center. She says, “He was going through a very difficult time, and he went to the chapel at Serra Retreat to find solace and answers… He had a very personal revelation while being in the chapel, and it truly changed the course of his life.” (via Vogue Magazine, linked above)
It only made sense to the two of them to start their marriage in this special and sacred place!
The celebrity couple each chose multiple looks for the weekend: one look for the welcome party, one for the wedding ceremony, one for the wedding reception, and another for the day-two farewell brunch.
These wedding outfits reflected the couple’s desire for a “timeless and airy, whimsical and natural” feel: Lana’s long white veil, delicate details and accessories, and flowing white dresses; and Anthony’s casual-fit khaki suit with sage green loafers, classic black and white tuxedo for the ceremony; and evergreen velvet suit for the reception. Although their ceremony attire was chosen far in advance (Lana picked out her wedding dress with her mother two years before the wedding date), the couple says other looks were more spontaneous and chosen with help from friends and a stylist.
The celebrity couple put a fun and unique twist on wedding tattoos: they invited a tattoo artist to their day-after brunch gathering to give free tattoos to anyone who wanted one! Vogue tells us that the couple had their wedding date tattooed on their arms, and that several guests also got cute commemorative tattoos.
If tattoos aren’t for you, consider the sweet embroidery that Anthony included in his wedding attire; the groom had his own initials embroidered on the cuffs of his dress shirt for the ceremony, and Lana’s name embroidered on the cuff of his shirt for the reception. (Think of it as a tattoo for your attire…)

Lana said that their ceremony was “emotional and joyous,” and that she felt “peaceful and deeply present.” It’s our guess that this feeling of peace and presence came from the ceremony’s intimate approach: the guest list filled with close friends and family, the meaningful venue close to nature and the memory of loved ones, and by cultivating moments of quiet mindfulness and gratitude. Spreading the celebration out over several days may have taken the pressure off, giving the newlyweds plenty of time to be themselves and connect in a deeper way with their guests.
