No. You can officiate weddings here or there, you can officiate weddings anywhere. You can officiate weddings on a plane, you can officiate weddings on a train. You can officiate weddings in a park, you can officiate weddings under an arc. You can officiate weddings here or there, you can officiate weddings anywhere.

Seriously though, there are no laws defining the type of venue where a wedding must be conducted.

Many of our ministers officiate weddings in the couple's backyard, others at a park, others have their ceremonies at fancy wedding venues, or on a friend's boat. You and the couple can choose to be as creative or traditional as you wish when it comes to choosing your wedding venue.
