Dan Henkel was a beloved husband, father, and professional wedding officiant, who believed guests should come away saying “That was so cool… and so THEM!” For more than 25 years, Dan united loving, diverse couples in one-of-a-kind weddings. His upbeat, inclusive style reflected his background as an award-winning communicator, entertainer and advocate. Couples described Dan as "the perfect fit for us" ... "an amazing officiant" ... "kind, genuine...a delightful presence” … “warm, welcoming, and responsive.” Dan made a home in Indianapolis, Indiana, & was ordained by AMM in 2019. Dan passed away in 2023 and will be greatly missed.
