Jeff Goldblum has done it again… and by it we mean bring inexpressible delight to a couple of nearly-weds on their wedding day.
This week, while riding a carousel in her wedding dress during a pre-ceremony photoshoot in a Brooklyn park, bride-to-be Sabrina Cartan noticed Goldblum in the distance.
Without a moment’s hesitation, she shouted his name across the park. (Honestly, who wouldn’t? It’s Jeff freakin’ Goldblum.)
Not only did Goldblum walk over to say hello, he posed for a few classy photos with the couple (Sabrina and soon-to-be husband Brian), and then literally SERENADED them with a moving, spontaneous rendition of ‘Sunrise, Sunset’ from Fiddler On the Roof (in honor of their Jewish wedding).
Sabrina and Brian say their photographer and videographer caught it all, which is just another reason to make sure you have the right people behind the cameras at your event!
...
We don’t know which lines of ‘Sunrise, Sunset’ Goldblum sang, but we hope it was these:
“Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears
What words of wisdom can I give them?
How can I help to ease their way?
Now they must learn from one another
Day by day
They look so natural together
Just like two newlyweds should be
Is there a canopy in store for me?
Sunrise, sunset
Sunrise, sunset
Swiftly fly the years
One season following another
Laden with happiness and tears.”

This sweet story reminds us of the last time Goldblum made a big wedding day impression… that iconic Jurassic Park wedding photo!

Goldblum attended a Toronto wedding as the guest of his now-wife Emilie Livingston back in 2014, and helped the wedding party narrowly escape a T-Rex attack during an epic post-ceremony photoshoot.
We’d just like to point out that if anyone can make a bigger impression than a T-Rex, it’s Jeff Goldblum.
Did you know?
Goldblum married his wife Emilie during an intimate, private ceremony in 2014. They asked their couples therapist, Dr. Lawanda Katzman, PhD, to officiate.
On The Late Show with James Corden in 2016, Goldblum talked about Katzman’s special role as their officiant, explaining that she was ordained online in order to perform the wedding.
We love to hear this!
