Robin Hood’s moonlit proposal to Maid Marian, with a lotus flower tied to fit around her finger, has been making romantics swoon since the early 70s. Who needs a ring when you have a dreamy, spontaneous moment like that? The two lovers made their marriage official in a small church, in the company of all their woodland friends.
