Add another name to the growing list of celebrities and Swifties who have offered to officiate Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce! This week, Colorado Governor Jared Polis became the latest mega-fan to offer his services as a “Swiftie Wedding Officiant.”
In a now-viral post, Polis wrote:
“Congrats Taylor and Travis! I always knew you two were End Game. Your Love Story is So High School and Colorado Swifties are Down Bad with excitement over your engagement. Skip Florida!!! and exchange your Paper Rings in the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Colorado Governor
Certified Swiftie Wedding Officiant”
Here’s a look at a few other high-profile figures who have offered to do the honors – as we all eagerly await the big reveal!
The last big-name offer to officiate came from Flavor Flav, in September of 2024. Flav said at the time,
“I think they’re going to be together for a while… I hope they do, and if they get married, I want to be the preacher – I want to be the one that marries them.”
In October of 2023, during an episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, sportscaster Erin Andrews claimed credit for convincing Kelce and Swift to date, joking that she was Kelce’s “wingwoman” along with podcast cohost Charissa Thompson. As noted by Brides magazine, she added that given their role as celebrity cupids, “We hope to officiate the wedding.”
Quinton Lucas, the mayor of Kansas City, Missouri offered to officiate Taylor and Travis’s wedding way back in December of 2023, after crediting the couple for making KC a cool “it” city. “If they need me to officiate a wedding or anything like that, then I'm there for 'em,” he told reporters at the time.
As mentioned above, Gov. Polis has joined the list of wannabe-officiants, and we can’t blame him!
Even YOU could officiate this once-in-a-lifetime wedding with online ordination through a reputable church like American Marriage Ministries (AMM).

Martha Stewart won’t be Taylor and Travis’s wedding officiant, but she did offer to plan it! Yep, the media mogul herself volunteered for the job with an Instagram post, writing, “It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner.”
If the couple wants live music to move to, British rock band Foreigner has offered to play a few songs at the reception.
And New Zealand -- the entire country -- has formally offered to host the star wedding. The New Zealand tourism board wrote on Instagram, “This is our official petition for Pop’s next Royal Wedding to be hosted right here in Aotearoa New Zealand.”
No matter what, with support like this, this wedding is going to be one for the history books!
