Would You Officiate This Metalhead Wedding in a Mosh Pit?

Metalheads, rejoice! Two metal-lovers took their vows in the mosh pit at a Cannibal Corpse show in Pittsburgh earlier this month with the help of a very dedicated wedding officiant.

 

The couple’s wedding officiant wrote a custom metal-themed wedding ceremony script, which was shared by the bride in a Facebook post: 

 

“As the band in front of us plays and sings about blood, wretched souls, and eating the heart, there are 2 dark beautiful hearts, 2 aeons of building rage, 2 awesome souls who are uniting together as one. 

 

In the words of the great Matthew Heafy of Trivium, All the pain in this world won’t stop us now, for we have each other. All the hate in this world can’t tear us apart. This love between Erica and Chris is forever.”
