About the Course Creator: Rev. Dr. Samora Smith (Founder & CEO of Common Ground Ceremonies)

 

“Rev. Dr. Samora Smith (aka "The Lovesmith") was born and raised in NYC and comes from a mixed and multifaith background. Dr. Samora is also a multi-talented musical artist with certifications in sound and vibrational healing. 

 

She created Common Ground Ceremonies to bring people together and offer ceremonies in the spirit of inclusivity and love. Dr. Samora leads with an inclusive and welcoming approach and recently expanded her team to offer bilingual and indigenous ceremonies. 

 

As the Assoc. Director of The New Seminary for Interfaith Studies and Director for The Interfaith Temple, where she was ordained in 2008 and received her Doctorate in 2020, Dr. Samora now leads and coaches students of all faiths and backgrounds.
