There are two important steps to become a legal wedding officiant in Puerto Rico: Minister Ordination and Officiant Registration. Thankfully, experts at AMM just made both steps easier for you!
The first step is quick and simple: Ordination. You can get ordained online to officiate a wedding in Puerto Rico right now, just by clicking this link and completing our short online minister ordination application:
The second step is more complicated, but we made it easier for you: Registration. You must register as a wedding officiant with Puerto Rico’s Demographic Registry Office. In the past, this process was very confusing and time consuming, especially for officiants who are not fluent in Spanish.
Luckily, AMM just simplified the minister registration process with a new step-by-step guide, linked below. This new guide walks you through each step on the Demographic Registry Office website, with detailed instructions on how to complete the registration form and helpful English translations for each section.
