“A few years ago, I performed my first wedding and married one of my old managers and her partner when they were in need of an officiant.
Well during the ceremony, I got a little nervous and I accidentally said the bride’s middle name wrong…
She corrected me quietly, so I would reread her line over again. (It wasn’t something I meant to do, I was having a language barrier with some words.)
Even with that little mess up, that wedding changed my view on marrying people – because hearing them say “I do,” and being able to say “You may kiss the bride!” was just absolutely heartwarming!
I can’t wait for my next wedding coming up in a few weeks.”
