Introducing The Anonymous Officiant: Your wildest wedding stories, told anonymously

Published Tuesday, Feb. 7th, 2023

Hey, wedding officiants: Give us the tea… anonymously!

Do you have a wedding story you’re dying to share, but probably shouldn’t?

Want to get something off your chest about a client? Or share something funny… Off the record?

Send your story to The Anonymous Officiant and we’ll publish it… anonymously!

The Anonymous Officiant is a new column published here, on the AMM American Weddings blog, featuring first-person accounts from the wild world of officiating… written by real wedding officiants and shared anonymously.

We’re looking for:

  • Stories that are funny, heartwarming, scandalous, surprising, or informative
  • Rants that every officiant can relate to, or unpopular opinions
  • Gossip and grit
  • Cautionary tales, wedding disasters, and lessons to live by
  • Shouts into the void during wedding season
  • Anything else you want the world to know about wedding officiants!

Give us the tea! Follow the guidelines below to have your submission considered for publication in The Anonymous Officiant.
