AMM’s Going to Wedding MBA 2022 - See You There!

This time of year means something special to us here at American Marriage Ministries – tis the season for pumpkin spice lattes, midterm elections, and WEDDING MBA! 

 

Now, we hope you’ll join us in all three of these important activities, but today we’ll keep our focus on that last one… the Wedding MBA Convention, a.k.a. the largest multi-day conference for wedding professionals in the world, held in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 7th thru 9th.

 

For those of you just starting out in the officiant business, here are the basics about this annual pilgrimage to our country’s neon-lit elopement capital: 

 

Wedding vendors from around the world are welcome at Wedding MBA, which means hundreds of wedding officiants, caterers, DJs, photographers, florists, bakers, wedding planners, and more attend each year. Tickets definitely aren’t cheap (at over $400 a piece), but they offer unlimited access to over a hundred specialty seminars, guest speakers, and exhibits, with countless opportunities to share a couple drinks, network, and exchange new ideas and advice with other professionals.

This year, AMM will be sponsoring the industry-specific Officiants Track portion of the event, along with a fun meet-and-greet for professionals afterward that is put on by our good friends at the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO). A few of us from the office in Seattle are flying in to meet ministers in person, and AMM’s Executive Director, Lewis King, will even be covering a few emcee duties throughout the day. 

 

It’s going to be a blast!

The Las Vegas Convention Center was awarded the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR facility accreditation by ISSA: The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association, the world’s leading trade association for the cleaning industry. Considered the gold standard for safe facilities, the GBAC program was designed to control the risks associated with infectious agents, including the virus responsible for COVID-19.
