The First Wedding at Fresno Pride is Sponsored by AMM Minister Thalia Arenas!

Let’s give a great big shout out to AMM Minister and professional celebrant Thalia Arenas! 

 

Thalia is sponsoring the first-ever public wedding at Saturday's 2024 Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival . The ceremony will feature one lucky couple on the event’s Main Stage at 1pm on June 1st, pronouncing them married against a backdrop of colorful, happy festival-goers. 

 

As an event sponsor, Thalia is providing a decorative wedding arch for the stage and other supplies to make the couple’s unique ceremony picture-perfect. The wedding itself will be officiated by a local drag queen for an unforgettable event! 

 

Although this is the first public wedding at Fresno’s annual Pride festival, it’s not Thalia’s first time attending or participating!

Last year, she became the first wedding officiant to host a ceremony booth at the event. Her involvement helped pave the way for other LGBTQ+ inclusive officiants to participate this year, connecting them with couples who want (and need!) an officiant who truly celebrates their love.

 

Thalia will have her signature-pink booth at the event again this year – complete with its own wedding arch and decorations! She’ll be providing symbolic commitment ceremonies and vow renewals for couples attending the festival, and will be participating in the parade as well!

Celebrant Thalia is the owner of Marry Me Wedding Chapel & Garden, a gorgeous budget-friendly mini wedding venue located in Fresno, California.

 

She specializes in Bilingual (Spanish / English) and LGBTQ weddings, and also performs quinceañeras, baby blessings, and memorial services. She has been officiating and planning custom weddings for nearly 12 years, and was ordained with American Marriage Ministries in 2018. 

 

In addition to her work as a celebrant, civil minister, and wedding coordinator, Thalia is a California State Notary, a Humane Educator with the Central California SPCA, and a former restaurateur (Thalia’s Mexican Restaurant).
