Our ministers frequently ask, “Is my ordination still valid?” 

 

Good news: Whether you got ordained a month, a year, or a decade ago, your ordination with American Marriage Ministries never expires. That's right - your AMM ordination lasts a lifetime!

 

Here’s even more good news: In addition to our ordination being free, there are no annual renewal fees or tithes, either. Wedding celebrations are expensive enough already and we don’t want to add to that. On the contrary, we want to make officiating a ceremony as affordable and simple as possible.

 

Ordination is a spiritual contract between a religious organization - that’s us! - and a minister - that’s you!  so there’s no reason that such an agreement should involve the transfer of money. Our mission is to provide our services to as many people as possible, and we believe that all people have the right to perform marriage. This includes people of all socio-economic classes, not just those who have money.

 

By not charging fees, we are able to provide those services to folks who would otherwise not be able to afford it. We know that some online churches charge a fee for ordination, or sell ordinations that expire, but we go to great lengths to differentiate ourselves from other churches, and this is one way that we do it. 

 

Once you get ordained, your ordination is valid for life or as long as you choose to remain an AMM minister. If you wish to renounce your status as an AMM minister, you can do so from your minister account. If you need assistance doing so, you can contact us at any time.
