How Do I Get My Minister License To Marry People?

Your first (and possibly only) step is to get ordained with American Marriage Ministries. Our ordination is free and gives you the authority to marry people as an AMM Wedding Officiant.

Beyond ordination, depending on which State(s) you will be officiating weddings, you may also have to apply for a license to marry people through the local State government. Find out more information about minister license requirements by state in our Weddings by State pages.

Is My Online Minister License Really Free?

Yes. It is 100% free to get ordained as a wedding officiant with American Marriage Ministries. Our free ordination is all you need to perform marriage in most States. Some States will require you to register with the State government before officiating a wedding, however this only applies to the States and Territories linked to above in this page.
