ONLINE MARRIAGE OFFICIANT FAQ
Is your online marriage officiant ordination legal?
Yes! As an AMM Minister you will be joining a network of over 1,413,032 marriage officiants across the Country.
American Marriage Ministries is a Certified IRS 501(c)3 Non-Profit, Non-Denominational Church. Your right to officiate marriage as an AMM Minister is protected by the religious freedom clause of the 1st amendment. We stand by our ordinations and by our ministers.
Do I have to be Religious to become a marriage officiant with AMM?
You do not have to consider yourself a "Religious" person to become an AMM Minister. Your chosen faith or lack thereof is not a criteria of our ordination. We believe that no matter what you believe, all people posess certain inalienable rights. Acting in the capacity of a wedding officiant is one of those rights.
As an AMM Marriage Officiant you are free to include whatever faith, belief, or ideas into the ceremony that respects the values of the couple. We only ask that you agree to our organization's three tenets, which are listed on our ordination application.
