Officiated by Deborah L Reeves at The Barn at Moonlight in Dallas, Georgia on August 15th, 2026. Witnessed by maid of honor and best man.
"It was an honor to officiate the wedding of Phoenix Renae West and John Walker Colbert at the beautiful Barn at Moonlight in Dallas, Georgia, on August 15, 2026. Their ceremony was thoughtfully designed to reflect who they are as a couple, blending meaningful traditions with personal touches that made the moment uniquely theirs. One of the most memorable elements was a handfasting ceremony using white, gold, and green cords, symbolizing the love, commitment, and life they were joining together. Surrounded by family and friends, Phoenix and Walker exchanged vows and rings in a ceremony that was heartfelt, joyful, and deeply personal. I believe a wedding ceremony should feel like the couple standing before me—not like a script that could belong to anyone. Whether a couple envisions something traditional, spiritual, contemporary, intimate, or completely their own, I enjoy working with them to create a ceremony that honors their personalities, beliefs, traditions, and story. Phoenix and Walker's wedding was a wonderful example of how meaningful a ceremony can be when it is created specifically for the two people saying, “I do.”"
