Welcome Everyone,

We arrive here today in the moment that has been eagerly anticipated... the bringing together of Nick Garcia and Sterling Hervey in Matrimony. Nick, Sterling... as we move through the ceremony today, my hope is that you breathe in every second with Love and Gratitude for one another and keep in mind the journey that brought you two here. By extention, my hope for all of us in attendance is that we keep ourselves in a state of reverence for witnessing a Love so sure of itself.

This whole thing may have been a Pain in the Ass, but you're across from the best person to share it with... am I right?

Serendipity vs Fate

Serendipity is the set of random events that occur in a happy or beneficial way... an unplanned but fortunate discovery of sorts. Fate, similarly, entails the development of those same, random events, but it has the perspective that there are unseen forces at work behind the scenes. I bring this to our attention because "fate" was a word used often when I first spoke to Nick and Sterling about how their relationship began to what it has come to today... from arriving in Lubbock with similar thoughts and intentions around the same time, to how easy it was for Kobie, Jamie, Annie, Gravie, and Glorie to get along, to landing those Boyz 2 Men tickets in the unorthodox and ill advised way Nick did. To have this perspective means that whatever happens in this relationship is supposed to happen, and it will happen FOR the two of you, as individuals and as a couple. This perspective provides the two of you with a foundation of strength and support to learn and resolve from, which I know you two welcome with open arms. What a beautiful perspective to share with the person you Love. I'm honored to have crossed paths with you two and witness it.
