On this page, we’ll run through the basics of getting ordained to legally perform weddings in Greensboro, walk you through the process of obtaining your marriage license, and finally, we’ll get you pointed in the right direction regarding venues, dates, and other important details.
The state of North Carolina states that these specific individuals may officiate a marriage within the state:
“...Every minister, officer, or any other person authorized to solemnize a marriage under the laws of this State.”
Once you are ordained by American Marriage Ministries, you are a minister, and that qualifies you to officiate weddings in North Carolina. We know there have been some issues with other churches, but after more than a decade, our ministers have performed thousands of successful weddings in the state, and there shouldn’t be any issues.
Prepare for the wedding by doing your research, and working with the couple to create a wedding ceremony that reflects the sort of experience they want to create. We have a lot of free online training materials right here on the website.
If you really want to make sure you’re prepared for the ceremony, check out our highly accredited course, which will prepare you with all the necessary tools to perform a memorable and powerful wedding ceremony.
Once you have done the step above, it is time to officiate the wedding and complete the wedding license for the couple. You want to complete the ceremony according to the wishes of the couple.
