I became Ordained with AMM after my Niece asked me to marry her and her fiancé. I’d been a Pastor for 9 years, Ordained under a particular organization. After divorcing and remarrying, my affiliation was in question. With a new name and a new life, I wanted to continue my Heavenly Ordained ministerial life, but needed to ensure that all things were in solid order to be able to officiate my Niece’s ceremony, decently and in order. I simply did a search to see if Ministers can conduct marriage ceremonies in other States. When I did, the first site that came up was AMM. I was so delighted to see that I could securely ensure my credentials! In addition, from what I read about the heartbeat of AMM, it aligned with my own beliefs that no-one should be restricted from marriage and that those ceremonies should be able to be officiated by people very special to the ones getting married. I almost couldn’t believe what I was reading. An answered prayer without even looking for it! I feel so fulfilled and thrilled to have a bonafide legal backing and an honored opportunity to serve others. Especially family. Love matters. This will be my first marriage ceremony and I’m more than excited. I’m thankful to God for AMM.
