I am currently 55 years old. I believe there are spiritual existences,as I have seen enough odd coincidence's to affirm such. I have studied various religions, and have found all to have positive as well as negative connotations, and do not strongly agree with any enough to devote myself to one in particular. As to violence,or killing for sacrifice I would choose not to follow such a God that requires either as penance for the doing of wrong. I believe that we must have reverence, respect, and love for one another, for all life, and for our earth. I do not consider marriage to be absolutely necessary for the bonding,and enduring love,and respect of two individuals, a simple contract cannot assure longevity, love, respect in ,and of it's self, when concerning matters of the heart. However I wholeheartedly respect, and understand why two individuals would wish to become one, united in legal, and spiritual matrimony. First,and foremost must be love, then secondly there is the legal,and financial considerations,and benefits that are to be gained by such a union. I believe in same sex marriage! The love between two person's of the same sex is in no way inferior too, or less sanctified than that of an opposite sex couple. Love is pure, love is fulfilling, love is the ultimate awesome, and alas I believe it to be rare. I believe that one, or both person's endeavoring to marry may be doing so either consciously,or unconsciously for the wrong reasons, and would wish to hear each person's reasons for entering into such, before uniting them as one. I am unmarried as I have not been so fortunate as to find that true beloved someone, however I never commence to give up,and neither should anyone else! As told me in my youth by a wise older man; Love all be intimate with few! May your love never wane.
