Michelle Coghill Chatman, PhD (Iyalorisa Omo Olufina) is a priestess within the Yoruba/Ifa tradition. I was initiated as a priest of Shango in 1998 at the Yoruba Temple of Spiritual Elevation and Enlightenment in Washington, DC., and have been part of ritual/ceremonies in Nigeria, Trinidad, and Cuba. I can officiate services within the Ifa tradition and also spiritual weddings. I use ritual, affirmation, prayer, and song to amplify the sacred energy in my ceremonies.
