Paul lives in Washington and was ordained by American Marriage Ministries on June 10th, 2015.

Retired law enforcement officer after a combined 43 years of service which began with the Honolulu Police Department and concluded with the King County Sheriffs Office here in Washington. Baptized as a Catholic, confirmation followed as a teenager and a year and half at St. Stephen's Seminary for studies into the priesthood. I exited after conferring with my confessor (Father Cunningham) who I truly believed gave me great advice for my young adult life. Graduated from Farrington High School in 1965 with a C average grade, went directly to work at a gas station to be part of the work force to assist my parents in our low income housing and status. Uncle Sam called in our draft system, but I enlisted instead into the U.S. Army Security Agency for four years. Basic training at Fort Ord, CA. and advanced training in Ft. Devens, Massachusetts. I signed up for duty in Vietnam and spent one tour at Long Binh with various assignments in Tey Ninh, Saigon and Bin Wah. Thereafter I was assigned to Augsburg, Germany and reassigned to West Berlin, Germany as a ComSec Analyst at Det. O, supporting the Berlin Brigade in their G-2 section. While there I met the love of my life (Pamela Wright) who was also in the Army and stationed at Heidelberg, Germany in the finance section. We got married in 1970 while in West Berlin by a local female judge. Thereafter we exited from the Army in 1971 and moved back to our homeland, Nanakuli, HI. Jobs were in demand so I applied with the Honolulu Police Dept. and passed their entry exams (just barely) got hired in August of 1971 and attended their basic law enforcement academy and graduated with seventy-two other recruits, one of the largest classes in HPD history. Spent fourteen years in various sections of the department, patrol, vice, intelligence and witness protection program. I then relocated to Kent, WA. knowing that I had been accepted as a recruit with the King County Sheriffs Office in October 1985. Economics was a serious issue in Hawaii with cost of living, housing and basic needs just exploding. Graduated from the academy, got field trained by some great deputies and spent the first two years in Patrol Operations. Then accepted an offering in the detective division at the Pct. level handling larcenies, burglaries and auto thefts. Also worked in a new program called School Resource Officer. Renton school district, Lindbergh H.S. for about four years and then returned to patrol division. I then spent the last years working at the district court level as security for the courts and retired as a marshal from the Sheriffs Office in June 2014. Through these years of service to my country, state of Hawaii and Washington I've held myself in the highest degree of service to the community and people who desire the best of those who give of their lives and family to protect and serve them. My trusting words was always 'Blessed are the Peace makers for they shall be called Sons of God'. Now retired and still involved in my community with coaching volleyball and paddling for a canoe club (Kekaha O'Kekai). I've been blessed many times over and consult with my Lord Jesus Christ for guidance, peace of mind and continue to pray for those less fortunate then myself.
