Hello! I'm Gloriana Hunter, and I perform weddings in the Phoenix metro area of Arizona for all couples who consider themselves non-religious. I am also available for coaching and consult in the pursuit of personal meaning and purpose, designed to help you define and practice your personal approach to life and living. Life is meaningful, despite our circumstances, and individuals are constantly striving to find their personal meaning and purpose in life. Some people find meaning and purpose through spirituality, while others find it through their actions. Often times, the pursuit of meaning and purpose is mistaken for the pursuit of happiness. In this, we can get distracted by the frivolous things in life, and not be in tune with a deeper meaning. This can lead to deep-seeded frustration, and shows up in lack of goals, lack of self-worth, lack of empathy for others, and lack of hope. While not an unworthy pursuit, levels of happiness are based circumstantial situations. Happiness is dependent on our mood, and whether or not external things around us are going well. On the other hand, meaning and purpose often comes when there is a hardship that is faced. It is 'birthed from fire', and a deeper context of our existence is realized. While it is true that meaning and purpose is more difficult to pursue and attain than is happiness, the deeper-level outcomes are much more significant - and permanent in nature. As an ordained minister, I offer coaching and consulting to any individual or couple endeavoring to identify their meaning and purpose.
