About Dr. David Blunt

Dr. David lives in California and was ordained by American Marriage Ministries on February 10th, 2015.

Dr. David Blunt an adjunct professor and published theorist on multicultural psychology and issues related to cross-cultural perspectives that value diversity as a primary construct in content delivery. I am the proud father of four adult children and grandpa to five grandkids. I currently live in Southern California. I earned my B.A. in Practical Theology, a M.A. in Religion minor in Ethics and Philosophy, and my Ph.D. in General Psychology with an interest in Multiculturalism, Human Motivation, Educational and Professional Development. I also have a Post Doctorate Certificate in Psychology for online teaching, published several articles while serving as a peer review editor for a public health journal. I spent several years in law enforcement and have a very broad work and professional background. I obtained my private pilot license at a young age, with hobbies to include construction, classic car restoration, and most importantly? camping. My teaching and mentoring experience dates back to 1983, online since 1995, and dissertation committee work over the last 5-years while focusing on the success of business professionals with an emphasis on effecting positive social change. I have taught nearly all graduate level psychology courses offered at the university. In the past I was instrumental in the implementation of enforcement protocol related to police departmental policy and the Department of Corrections custody procedures. I am an entrepreneur at heart, founder and corporate executive administrator for several companies. I have been involved in nearly all phases of the financial based and service industries with responsibilities that included approval of research training for peer review, strategic planning, merchant operations, compliance, e-commerce, licensing, and product development. Additionally, I have managed research strategy and business development which focused on peer review analysis for research and module training, platform strategy, critical response, peer development, core development and multicultural solutions, sales and productivity, client application, and integration support. My research interests would include law enforcement studies and forensic, religion based research, industrial and social organizational structure including leadership and employee issues, addiction and rehabilitation, child rearing and family concerns.
