My cultural experiences have shown me the beauty in all religions. Although I belong to the Muslim faith, I believe that the union of two people under God is a beautiful thing and should not be limited by denomination. The sanctity and sacredness of marriage is not be taken lightly and should be held to the highest standard. I believe there are three pillars of marriage: Respect, Trust, and Love- in that order. With these ideals as a foundation from which to build a relationship, two people united in marriage can never lose their way. Regardless of their religious belief or sexual orientation, this is a universal standard of life. No matter who we are.
