I was ordained through American Marriage Ministries because I believe marriage is one of the most profound commitments two people can make—and every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they truly are. For years, I’ve watched friends, colleagues, and loved ones navigate ceremonies that felt impersonal, rushed, or disconnected from their story. I realized that officiants hold an extraordinary responsibility: to give language to love, to honor the gravity of commitment, and to create a moment that feels intentional, human, and real. American Marriage Ministries stood out to me because they empower officiants to serve couples of all backgrounds, identities, and beliefs. Their philosophy aligns with my own: marriage is not owned by any single institution—it belongs to the people entering it. I became ordained to offer ceremonies that are: Personal, never generic Grounded, never performative Inclusive, never exclusionary Elegant, never overproduced My role is not to stand above the couple, but beside them—to guide the moment with calm, clarity, and presence.
