I was an agnostic/Atheist from age 9 to age 50, I had survived electrician at age 3, survived drowning at age 9 by swimming 8 1/2 hours from the middle of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville Florida, The boating accident took my fathers life, and I blamed God for not saving his life... I didn't understand that God might have needed a sailor and he called my father home to him. For years I was plagued with guilt, shame, and remorse, I turned heavily to drugs and alcohol. Oct. 25, 2025 I'll have 7 years off of Alcohol, and I still go to meetings, & I've been off hard drugs since 2013 I have survived 5 suicide attempts, Illnesses and injuries at different ages from birth to 64, until a finial suicide attempt March 24th 2011, one more attempt, one more failure, where this time, i did die, I flatlined 5 times, where I woke up 3 days later on life support and my first thoughts weren't YEAH I'm Alive, it was... 'Damn, I'm still here, WHY'? A little blue hair nurse had been assigned to watch over me, she said ' "Oh, someone is watching over you" I said 'Who? F.B.I? C.IA? Medford P.D?, Jack net? Who'? (I was a non-paid pharmical rep. i.e. a drug dealer so I really thought the cops got me, but it wasn't the cops) She said that it was "God" watching over me...WOW ... She was right, "God", was and is doing for me, that which I can not do myself, at that time. I found my higher power in the rooms of AA & NA. Since 2011 till the present day. I no longer desire to take my own life. I found my niche as a Karaoke proformer 2001 to present, and started "Mouse_on_da_mic", doing live tiktok & instgram broadcast pretty much every night, and been going to open mic nights playing my guitar, singing, and have published over 64 songs that I wrote. I still do believe in God, because God won't let me die, I've had my hard knocks, Illnesses and injuries that would have killed anybody, but, God has carried me all the long, God won't let me die? I'm still here and turned 64 Years old, Who would have thought? I didn't think I'll make it to 50 let a lone 64. Thank You, God. Amen. Michael V. Winne Minister ID 134504
