My name is Carroll Fredrick Forrester Jr. I am a sheep, and in how I live seem to be a shepherd, just to know how scattered the sheep are. Lord, when I think of running to you with outstretched arms, and palms facing skyward to receive gentle doves sent from you. I think of myself as a thorn, sharp, darken and harden by life?s past events. My arms and hands fall slowing to my sides, and I fall to my knees in despair knowing I could have been a better gatherer. You come to me in my anguish, and enlighten me. Your beautiful flowers, and your most beautiful the Rose, and how they are protected only by the sharpest, and most hardened thorns. Finding comfort in being the thorn my spirit at ease, yet awestruck understanding more in the gentleness of its beauty, and the preciousness of life.
