Welcome y’all. Thank you friends and family, gathered here today to celebrate the Wedding of Chris and Ashley. We know it’s been a bumpy road adventure to get this far, all considering. We are thrilled to get this shindig going. Between the beautiful weather & the couple’s request, I will keep this simple & fairly short.

This occasion not only marks the beginning of their marriage commitment together, but it is a commemoration of the love nurtured and shared between these two. As of today, they begin on a new journey in their life together, built on the foundations of trust, compassion, mutual respect, appreciation for country music and the open road.

A great relationship is about appreciating the similarities and respecting the differences.

From what I know of these two, seems like they have that down path. They started off shooting pool for a team, eventually lead to a text and a first date of Chicken Wings at the B-Dubs, with a side of nervous butterflies. Top that off with a Country music sing-off in his truck, she was hooked, but so was he. I heard Chris won at least that first show-down. From there they have shared road trips across half the country & Niagara Fall. That right THERE is a testament of their relationship. If you can do a long road trip and not try to kill each other before the destination, you’re doing something right!

Today, Chris and Ashley have brought us together to declare their intent and commitment to one another. As we celebrate this bond of unity, it is important that we keep in mind that, while this is a joyous occasion, the promises we witness here today are serious and life-changing commitments. Now you, their family & friends, are joined here today to give witness, encouragement, and support to their union as a married couple.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

To Groom: Do you Chris (Christopher Niemczyk), take this woman to be your lawful & cherished Wife, before these witnesses, promise to stay by her side in sickness & health, joy & sorrow, so long as you both shall live? ( I DO )

To Bride: Do you Ashley (Ashley Davis), take this man to be your lawful & cherished Husband, before these witnesses, promise to stay by his side in sickness & health, joy & sorrow, so long as you both shall live? ( I DO )

Closing:

May your relationship continue to be filled with dusty road trips, sing-offs in the truck, and dancing in the Kitchen and garage. In the tougher times, blow off a little steam when you need to, but then bring it back to how you two have gotten through other times before. Remind each other of what brought you to this moment, here, today. Never go to sleep angry, respectfully talk through your challenges. Hold each other through your tears & uplift each other. Never underestimate the strength of a silent touch, when needed most. Keep the playful silliness alive. Hug, Kiss each other, & Say I love you often. Keep making great memories of simple moments.

Remember that some of the most memorable days usually end up with the dirtiest clothes.
