ABOUT THIS WEDDING
"Since the couple was raised in my neck of the woods in North-central IL, the decided to come back HOME (Florida residents 10 of their 15 yrs), since the Bride's parents were wheel-chair bound. Travel dipped hard into their budget, but being with family was most important! With luck of skills within the family, a lovely intimate family affair was had! Ironically, the bride sent her inquiry to me when she realized my husband hung out with her brother at times back in high school! lol Small world! During the ceremony, they included a Sand Blending Unity (always helps to offer tips in advance), and a Flowers of Gratitude moment that honored special family members there, and memorial of those passes (including 2 angel babies - that moment brought a tear). As luck worked out & how small town living goes, my own son-in-law (the shutter-bug) was working from home 2 blocks away. He was happy to run over & take pics for the couple (as a gift), even moved his lunch hour to make it fit into the schedule. The very moving, tender wedding was a great reminder of that family is the most important part, and to cherish those we are blessed to have, even if it is just a fleeting moment. "
