ABOUT THIS WEDDING

" Gareth & Catrin’s elopement is another one of my favorite weddings! When I learned they were flying in from Wales, I did a little research into their background & discovered a beautiful poem often read in Welsh Weddings, ‘mi gerddaf gyda thi’ - I incorporated the poem into their vows & they loved the personal touch celebrating their heritage! I always love working side-by-side with my daughter Nicole Hernandez; I officiate & she captures the couple in photos. She selected the Spring Mountain Ranch area for Gareth & Catrin... a natural venue that gave them photos as stunning as they are! Their only disappointment was that Gareth’s daughter Ceylon couldn’t join them for the ceremony... I believe she got a trip to Disney Paris & she adores her beautiful new family❤️"

Welcome to Las Vegas & a very special day!

Please join me in a simple prayer of thanksgiving; open eyes, open heart, open spirit... I want you to soak up every ounce of beauty on this day!

Thank You Father for the gifts of nature - the ground beneath our feet, the expanse of sky above us & the majestic mountains around us! You've set a stunning backdrop for us to celebrate one of life's greatest treasures.

Today, Father we thank You for Marriage. You created a man but said it is not good for him to be alone & then, a woman to join him on the journey.

The name Gareth means "gentle" ... it gives me great joy Catrin to join you in marriage with a man whose namesake declares he will be gentle with you.

The name Catrin means "pure"... it is my honor to present you Gareth with a wife who is pure. (A simple private blessing for Catrin to release the past experiences of 2018, setting her free to begin anew)

Gareth & Catrin, please join hands for the blessing of the rings.

Father, bless these rings that they might be so much more than the material from which they were created. Give them life with a spirit of "peace & hope" as Gareth & Catrin build this new life together, "courage & strength" as they face the challenging seasons and "kindness, grace & eternal love" as they celebrate the journey of life! Remind them that these rings are symbols not only for the two of them but for a generation who have forgotten the treasure of marriage.
