ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"Taneil reached out to my daughter Nicole on a Wednesday because she & Michael wanted to get married in THREE DAYS! Since Nicole is a wedding photographer & I'm an officiant, we were ready, willing & able to help Taneil pull off her dream elopement! Nicole ordered a gorgeous bouquet from @mauloafloraldesign & we headed to Mesquite, Nevada to scout out the perfect location! Nicole is a genius at finding locations no one would ever select in a million years... she's taught me that the location is merely the palette, while the couple is the masterpiece to be captured! She found a washed out riverbed....yes, a riverbed, for Mike & Taneil to become Mr & Mrs. It was beautiful & intimate and their little pup Lolli loved it! Then Mr & Mrs Wood joined us in the second location...I'm not sure what the desert plants were, but one of my favorite pictures ever is the one you see here... Taneil looks absolutely stunning! And the final location for our brave newlyweds was the actual riverbed! If their marriage is anything like their wedding, this couple will always be on the move & looking for adventure as they live happily every after!"

Mike & Taneil, welcome to your Wedding Day! Let’s begin the way we should begin every special event in our lives, with a prayer of thanksgiving; Thank You Father for joining us here today. Thank You for the beautiful creation around us and the treasured couple before me. Thank You for the treasure of marriage and the blessings it holds for Mike & Taneil in their journey together! Thank You Father for loving us with an unfailing & eternal love! In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Mike & Taneil, I don’t know much about the two of you. I don’t know how you met and I don’t know the journey that brought you here to me. But I do know the treasure I have been ordained to offer & I know the blessings your future holds as the two of you honor the vows you speak in this ceremony today!

Father, bless these rings. Make them so much more than the material from which they were created. Breathe life into them... a blessing of “peace & hope” for Mike & Taneil in their life together as husband and wife... empower them with “ Courage and strength“ as Mike & Taneil face the challenging seasons & instill “kindness, grace & unfailing love” as they celebrate the journey ahead!
