Finding Each Other Again.....

The Wedding of Nelson Zaldivar & Bobbie Zaldivar

Officiated by Dr. Shauna Moore Reynolds at Private Home in Potomac, Maryland on December 24th, 2018.

ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"I LOVE this couple. This couple divorced after years of ups and downs. Even though both tried to move on, there was a magnet that would not let them separate. Years after their divorce, they decided to give it one more try! The love was in the room and they were surrounded by the ones that love them the most. It was a a beautiful union."

Wedding of Nelson Javier Zaldivar and Bobbie Jo Zaldivar

Good Afternoon,

We have gathered here together to celebrate the re-marriage of Bobbie Jo Zaldivar and Nelson Javier Zaldivar in the presence of loved ones. We are here to give recognition to the beauty of love that is shared between Nelson and Bobbie as they re-join their family in holy matrimony. Marriage is a contract not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously and with a deep realization of the obligations and responsibilities of both parties.

This unity is comprised of dependence and independence, which are equal and mutual. You must allow each other the freedom to change and grow as individuals while, becoming more inseparable and in love with each passing day. Love isn’t just a feeling in your heart, or just a word you say every day, love is also an action it’s something you do, by showing respect, kindness and understanding and by putting the needs of the one you love before your own.

Intentions

Nelson, will you take Bobbie to be your wife again? Will you love her, comfort her, honor and protect her and forsaking all others to be faithful to her until death do you apart? Groom: I Do.

I will always be open, honest, and faithful to you. I take you for my wife, to have and to hold from this day on, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish for all the days of my life and until my last breath.

Rings

Can I please have the rings please?

Nelson, repeat after me: This ring, which has no beginning and no end, symbolizes the love and trust between us that will never cease. May its presence on your hand remind you of my love and vow. I place it on your finger as a visible sign of the promises, which have made us as husband and wife.

Bobbie, repeat after me: This ring, which has no beginning and no end, symbolizes the love and trust between us that will never cease. May its presence on your hand remind you of my love and vow. I place it on your finger as a visible sign of the promises, which have made us as wife and husband.

Pronouncement

Bobbie and Nelson have spent moments from each other as separate individuals. During this separation, they missed the love, comfort, and support that they used to bring to each other. But from this forward, each moment shall be shared and spent as one.

Nelson and Bobbie, in the days ahead of you, there will be bad times and good times, times of sadness and times of joy. I ask you to remember this advice:

Never go to bed angry.

Let your love be stronger than your anger.

Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend than to break.

Believe the best of your beloved rather than the worst.

Confide in your partner and ask for help when you need it.

Remember that true friendship is the basis for any lasting relationship.

Give your spouse the same courtesies and kindnesses you bestow on your friends.

And Say “I love you” every day.

By the power vested in me by state of Maryland, I now declare you to be husband and wife. Nelson, you may kiss your bride!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Zaldivar.
