Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together here to join Mark Anthony Martinez and Kaihya Chambers in this beautiful, spiritual celebration of marriage.

This is the official contract that binds these amazing beings under one, unconditional love,

and to enforce an eternal promise to be kept and held on to for many years to come.

Friends and Family of the Loving couple,

-This Celebration is not only to rejoice because two creatures of God's hands found their soulmate out of the billions of people here on Earth.

But it is also to acknowledge and recognize a love that Anthony and Kaihya share between the depths of their hearts, and are ready to express through the following stages of each other's lives.

-We are admiring a commitment the couple is ready to endure in through all the obstacles and temptations that will be thrown their way, not to overcome separately, but as a joint married couple.

We admire a commitment that will spread hope to those who doubt they will find "the one", and spread comfort to those who are patiently seeking their soulmate.

-and finally admiring a commitment, unifying them not by shared checkbooks or Netflix accounts, but by one of the most complex ideas and expressions many of us find hard to understand, Love.

Anthony and Kaihya are a pure reflection of headstrong commitment. Their devotion and love to their duties, to their country, and to each other at such an early stage of life, shows the maturity and dedication many people strive for throughout almost all of their life. They prove that once again, love has no age, love is not just a thing people feel occasionally when they're in the mood; love is selfless, Love is patient, love is kind, love does not envy.

Love is the laugh that Anthony continuously falls in love with whenever he cracks a joke to Kaihya, Love is the sweetness Kaihya adores ever since she met Anthony freshman year of high school, love is the mexican food they devour every weekend when they drive hours just to see each other. and similar to the Marine core values, Love is honor, love is courage, and love is commitment.

Marrying at an early stage is not the end of freedom. I've been told by many people that they're afraid to get in to relationships because they're either afraid they'll want to experience more of the single life in the future , or afraid that marriage is too big of a thought when it comes to dating. The similarity these fears contain is that view of "freedom"

I say that freedom is being able to see your family as often as you want, whenever or wherever they are. I say freedom is the ability to live safe in a country because of those who continuously put their lives on the line. I say freedom is the ability to love whomever you want with no boundaries, no conditions, for aslong as you shall live.

Freedom is not a choice or something you feel when you’re single. It is a gift that Anthony and Kaihya have embraced and have put in to action by serving each other and their beautiful country.
