We are gathered here today to celebrate with Lily Ramirez and Javier Tlanteco as they

proclaim their love and commitment to the world. We have gathered here to rejoice with and for

them, in this new life they will now undertake together.

*Lily and Javier, you have chosen to write your vows, and it is with these words you express

your binding promises to love, honor, and cherish one another.

“There are a few rules I know to be true about love and marriage: If you don’t respect the other

have a lot of trouble. And if you don’t have a common set of values in life, you’re going to have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike. And the biggest on of those values is, your belief in the

importance of your marriage. I think marriage is a very important thing to do, and your missing a

lot if you don’t try it. Love each other or perish.”

Lily and Javier, you have come here today of your own free will and in the presence of family

and loved ones, you have declared your love and commitment to each other.

You have given and received rings as a symbol of your promises.

State of New York I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now seal your vows with a

kiss.
