Summer Baggett And Tristan Porter’s Wedding Wedding Ceremony Script

Good Afternoon,

On behalf of Summer and Tristan's families, I want to welcome all of you.

For those of you that know me, you are probably wondering why Summer and Tristan would choose me to officiate their wedding. I'm kind of wondering that myself but they knew what that were getting into when they asked me so I'm not going to apologise for anything.

I know Summer pretty well, and the type of ceremony she would want. I am sure she would like to be a lot like their times of intimacy, so without going into to many details, I am going to keep this short and sweet and get yall out of here as quickly as possible....and hopefully, unlike Summer most of you will not be to disappointed when its over!

It was a great honor being asked to officiate Summer and Tristan's wedding. As many of you here know, there are no friends of the Baggett family, once you have met a Baggett, you are family. As part of their family that has been around enough to share in some of the good times and the bad, I have grown close to Summer. I've seen her mature into the lovely young woman we see standing before us today. As I've grown closer to her, I almost see her as one of my own, so I will ask you now to forgive me if I get a little choked up during this ceremony.

Who gives this woman to be married today?

(Wait for Donovan)

Today is a celebration. A celebration of love, of commitment, of friendship, of family, and of two people who are in it for forever.

Summer and Tristan, You fell in love by chance, but you're here today because you're making a choice. You both are choosing each other. You've chosen to be with someone who enhances you, who makes you think, makes you smile, and makes every day brighter.

You're about to make promises to each other that you intend to keep. You're going to vow to take care of each other, to stand up for one another, and find happiness in the other. There's a simple premise to each of these promises: you're vowing to be there. You're teaming up and saying to the other, "Every experience I am going to have, I want you to be a part of."

We are gathered together here to join Tristan Porter and Summer Baggett in the spiritual union of marriage.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Tristan and Summer will now share their vows.

*(Vows)*

Do you Tristan take this woman to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto her for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Do you Summer take this man to be your lawfully wedded partner, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, in good times and bad, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself unto him for as long as you both shall live?

*(Wait for Confirmation)*

Tristan and Summer will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.

Though we have heard the vows, which have been shared by Summer and Tristan, words, once spoken, are carried away by the wind.

Therefore, the wedding ring is a visible symbol of the promises that have been made.

*(Ring Exchange)*

Tristan, as you place the ring on Summer’s finger, please repeat after me:

Summer, "With this ring, I wed you, and pledge you, my love, now and forever."

Summer, as you place the ring on Tristan’s finger, please repeat after me:

Tristan, "With this ring, I wed you, and pledge you, my love, now and forever."

Tristan, You may now kiss your bride!

By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife!

And now, to all the friends and family who have come to celebrate this marriage, I would like to present, Mr. & Mrs. Tristan Porter.
