Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered together here to join Laura Katherine Trent and John David DeBiase in the spiritual union of marriage.

This contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home.

Many people believe that entering into a marriage is that final step in a romantic relationship. But, as you know, marriage is not meant to be the final step in your relationship....it is really just the beginning of a grand adventure, which you have chosen to begin.

As in I Corinthians 13:4-5: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."

Laura and John have chosen to exchange wedding rings - exchanging rings is a symbol of the never-ending circle of love. Rings serve as a reminder of your wedding vows to each other and your commitment to live in unity, love and happiness.

Laura Katherine Trent and John David DeBiase will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment.

John and Laura, I want to wish you both much love and happiness as you

begin this new phase of your lives together as husband and wife. Remember to keep lots of laughter in your lives and love will never be far behind.

It is with pleasure I conclude the ceremony which joined you and binds you as husband and wife. So, by the power vested in me by the State of West Virginia and the American Marriage Ministries and the State of West Virginia I now pronounce you husband and wife.
