"My husband was actually a close friend of this groom prior to him meeting the bride. We’d been friends and sharing life for 7-8 years so when they were pulling together the details of the wedding, and asked me to officiate... I said, “YES!” I wrote their vows from scratch, after reading tons online, and was able to use so tiny idiosyncrasies of each of them within the script, for giggles and to lighten the tension🙂. I included a beautiful poem that I found and it summed up the two of them. They loved it and were so happy I was able and willing to make the script THEIRS. I decided then and there, that’s how I wanna do weddings. The kind where the ending is happy. ❤️❤️"
