ABOUT THIS WEDDING

" It was one of the most joyful experiences I’ve ever had in my life! This was my very first wedding renewal and it was for the wedding of my son and my new daughter-in-law. When they decided to get married they weren’t sure how they were going to find someone as they both live in Texas and I am in California. It prompted me to get ordained by American Marriage Miniseries as I share the same heartfelt beliefs. They decided that they wanted to have a destination wedding so they had it this June in Jamaica with a lovely pastor. Unfortunately my other son and daughter could not attend as they both were not able to leave the country at that time. So we decided that we would have a renewal back in California where everyone could be in attendance! We were able to have all the children together, my granddaughter and other members of our family. The gathering was intimate and joyful. Plus they laughed when I told them that having a renewal two months after their wedding was a sure sign they would be together forever! Managing to hold back tears worked until almost the very end but it was very poignant and I made it through in front of our dearest friends and family! It was so awesome I told everyone that I think I could do one wedding a day!"
