Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests,

We are gathered here today in the sight of God and these witnesses to join together Kelly Bramble and Allan Huntington in holy matrimony;

Kelly & Allan, you have come here today, on this beautiful winter morning to marry your best friend. Marriage is a sacred and eternal union that is lovely in its innocence, mighty in its strength, and richly filled with possibilities. You are taking into your care the happiness of a person whom you love with all your heart. Be gentle caregivers, honoring one another’s trust. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight.

Today you both choose to unite your lives together as one. In doing so, remember that everything that you need already resides within you … all of the love, wisdom, compassion, and strength. You are not marrying each other in hopes of gaining these things, but for the privilege of giving them as gifts that the other might have in even greater abundance. Love is a promise that is always kept, a fortune that can never be spent, a seed that can flourish in the most unlikely of places. And within this unfading radiance, this mysterious and magical joy is the greatest treasure of all - one known only by those who truly love. We are gathered together here to join Kelly and Allan in the spiritual union of marriage.

So Kelly and Allan, take a second and remember this moment in time. Before this moment you have been many things to one another- and through it a friendship has blossomed into a beautiful romance. You have learned much from one another over these last number of years. Now in a few minutes, you shall say a few words that take you across a threshold of life, and things will never quite be the same between you. For after these vows, you shall say to the world, this- is my husband, this- is my wife, and this is our family.

To that end, this contract is not to be entered into lightly but thoughtfully and seriously, and with a deep realization of its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring home. So, with that said,

DECLARATION OF INTENT

Kelly and Allan, you have come together this day so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of family and friends and so, in the presence of this gathering, I ask you to state your intentions: Have you both come here freely and without reservation to give yourselves to each other in marriage? If so, answer by saying "We do"

Kelly and Allan, the exchanging of vows is a commitment to make a life together and to share the uncertainties of the future, knowing that your love for one another remains constant through it all. Today's bond of marriage is the first step toward your life together as man and wife. Kelly and Allan you have selected your own vows. Please face each other and join hands.

Ring Exchange

Kelly and Allan will now exchange rings as a symbol of their love and commitment. The ring, an unbroken circle, represents unending love. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you be reminded of this moment and the love you have promised to one another.

PRONOUNCEMENT

The true art of married life is in this inner spiritual journey. It is a mutual enrichment, a give and take between two personalities, a mingling of two endowments which diminishes neither, but enhances both. Inasmuch as you Kelly, and you Allan, have consented together in the union of matrimony, you have pledged your faith each to the other in the presence of God, family, and friends.

May you always feel as close as you do this day. May your lives be graced with good health. May you always find happiness in your home, and may it be a refuge from the storms of life. May your love grow ever stronger as you share your lives together, and may your future be even more wonderful than you dreamed possible!
