ABOUT THIS WEDDING

"This was my very 1st wedding, and it was very special because it was my Big Brother's wedding - and he was marrying his High School Sweetheart who happened to be my friend since freshman year. They met through me. I was very excited that I was asked to officiate for them. It wasn't something that was planned from the beginning - it kind of just came up as a joke that later turned into a legit thing. Jake and Roz aren't religious people, in no way, shape or form, so they didn't want someone who was going to "preach" at them - they wanted something closer to home, something more comfortable. And, I guess asking little sister to get ordained and officiate for them was right down their alley. It wasn't perfect (lol) there were a few mess ups, but it made it feel authentic, because both sides of the families are very goofy and love to joke around - made it more "them" when they stumbled over their words or said something that made their guests laugh. The wedding came out perfect - no lie!! There were laughs and tears - both families came together to get the decorations done. We didn't need to do much to the Franklin Castle in Tahlequah, OK, because, well it's a CASTLE! It was like a fairy tale."
